God has been so good to Pastor Cooper and myself. We have a beautiful family of 4 children, 4 son/daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren with 2 more on the way. God is definitely blessing us! Life is not and has not always been easy especially as a follower of Jesus. However with HIM on your side you can walk through the tough times with a peace that passes all understanding. When life is flowing along and everything is wonderful and I seem not to have any struggles that is when I ask myself why??? Why is the devil not messing with "my" world and I have to ask myself have I become complacent, am I spending time with the Father, am I reading His word? The devil takes offense to us when we are growing in the Lord when we spend time with our Heavenly Father communicating with Him. That is when the devil fights us bringing envy, strife, pride, neglect, busyness and complacency in our lives anything he can bring to take our mind off God. When we allow sin in our life the devil does not have to worry with us and he will let us live our lives, so we mistakenly think everything is good because our life is flowing along. Thank God that He gave the Holy Spirit to draw us and bring us back into right fellowship with Him. If your life is flowing along seemingly good ask yourself, WHY. Make sure to know Him, so He will KNOW you.
